The Pulse Of Nature In The Heart Of The City.
 An integral part of Metropolitan is the Little Sugar Creek Greenway,
an exciting reclamation project. Here, flowing water will become the centerpiece of a beautiful linear park. The park provides a fascinating venue for special events, festivals and the more simple pleasures of a long walk on a sunny day.
People from area neighborhoods and businesses are drawn to it. So far, the county has invested $45 million to complete this portion at the grand linear park. The Greenway is 15 miles long, stretching from the South Carolina line to just north of Uptown Charlotte.
The result is the region’s most spectacular park, giving Metropolitan true landmark status.
